Scrapfest 2008 - Cosmo Cricket Booth

These pictures don't do the Cosmo Cricket Booth Justice. The new paper lines are SO cute.

Me & My Big Ideas Class - Girls Just Want to Have Fun

I took this class Friday at Scrapfest. It was great. You received lots of product and a 12 x 12 paper pad. This is the only class I took were you actually finish the project in class. It was fast paced but easy.

Scrapfest Make and Takes

This all the FREE stuff I received and made at Scrapfest. WOW! Can you believe they give away so much, and the vendors don't make a dime off the whole event. This is only the stuff I got to do, I didn't even get to about 25% of the booths over the 3 days. You could easily been busy the entire time without taking one class.

SCRARPFEST 2008 - Thursday Night Crop

Scrapfest is over and I'm exhausted. Thursday night I went with my friends Kristina, Carrie, and Mary to the Kick Off Crop put on by Little Yellow Bicycle. It was great. We got t-shirts, tote bags with goodies, the Christmas line of paper, a Halloween Boo banner project, a goodie bag from Archivers, snack bags, dinner, cupcakes, and got the first shot at all the new products in the store. Plus one lucky lady won a adorable bicycle (I wanted it sooo bad!).

Northwoods Watercolor Fall Card

Last Friday at my shoebox swap I was totally inspired to use water coloring with markers. I purchased this Northwoods stamp last week super cheap on the clearance table at Anchor Paper. I am taking a Northwoods class at Scrapfest and wanted to give one of their stamps a try. This isn't my usual style of image but I always love the card on display at the store. Well I think it turned out pretty good. I did have some problems with my embossing ink and powder (hence it being cut out).

Paper: SU cider, really rust, wild wasabi, river rock (inside)
Markers: SU
Bazzil thread on corners.

MN Renaissance Festival

We went to the Renaissance Festival today. It was so cool, and the costumes were awesome. These people are really into this.

Addison with the fairy that is on all the Festival adds. She plays the part perfectly, and her costume is unreal. Here she is giving Addison a fairy stone and some fairy dust. She also played some kind of flute. She was beautiful.

Addison making bubbles at one of the shops.

One of the dresses for sale. Don't you love it.

The woman and man in the middle in white had the most ornate costumes I saw.

Yes, that's a Grizzly

Nothing to do with stamping today. Went to the Minnesota Zoo (again) and saw the new Russia's Grizzly Coast exhibit. It's fantastic! I could have watch the Bears fishing & swimming all day. Addison was more interested in the fish than the bears. If you are anywhere close go visit. The weather here has been great, in the 60's. We even needed jackets this morning. Days like this make moving to the north worth it. Hoping to go to the Renaissance Festival this weekend.
