Not what I was going for.

I got this idea from Taylored Expressions. Mine did not turn out half as well as hers. First I didn't get the name centered. Then I tried to fix that with stamping some circles to even it out. It looks worse. So I glued on the buttons to cover that up. I will have to try again on the other side of the chalk board. I guess they can't all be winners.

Stampin Up Bigz Tulipe Die Angel

I was asking my friend what people are doing with this die and she said the are using pieces for all kinds of thing. I saw the angel in the shape of it and had to try it. I painted the vellum with Lumin Arte iridescent blue before cutting the wings out. I used 2 sets of the "wings" to give it a more 3-D look. I also used the vellum under her dress to give a layered effect.

Holiday Gift Bags & Note Pads

Here are some little gifts I made for the Christmas gifts.

The note pad idea came from Mish Mash.

The gift bag is from Chic N'Scratch. I filled a celo. bag with chocolates from the Target $1 spot (they come 3 in a box). I also made bag filler with the Choc. Chip cardstock.

Both used the same Stampin Up products.

Happy Halloween

Addison did feel well enough to go out for a little while. She was a Michigan cheerleader and one of her friends in the neighborhood was a Michigan football player. We tracked each other down to get a picture of them together, to cute. She did con one of her friends into go to the doors and retrieving the candy for her while she rode in the wagon. She is so management material. She crashed as soon as we got back home. Trick-or-treating is different here in MN. Kids don't go out until dark and it only last for about a hour and a half. We only had about 60 kids. Well hope everyone had a good Halloween. Happy Birthday Mom!
