O.K. I admit this is not my best piece of work. This was one that just didn't come together for me. I think it's because I was rushed. We have been so busy lately I just haven't had any time to play. When I first colored her I liked it, the layout is what killed it. The more I did the worse it got. Oh well, they can't all be winners.

I didn't fall off the face of the earth. I have been busy with my sister's family visiting. I promise to get some work done soon. Here are the rugrats at candyland. We have been to the zoo, children's museum, farmers market, sculpture garden, and some letterboxing. MOA is next, if I make it.
I had a great weekend with my stamping friends. We went to the St. Paul Stamp and Scrapbook Expo. for some retail therapy. It took us a good 4 hours to do all our shopping. It was exhausting, but tons of fun. Here are a few of my goodies.
I saw a great demonstration from Bugawumps. I can't wait to play with my oil pastels. I want to find a pina colada glass to use with the umbrella and the "time flies when you're having rum" stamps (or maybe a coconut? Hummm?)
*******WARNING ****** If your are in my ATC club and don't want to see my ATC, look away now!
I purchased the punches to try some punch art at the expo last year. I finally broke them out when I saw that our ATC theme for this month was Spring Flowers. It was a little labor intensive since I made 12 of them. Next time I think I will try a lilac. I hope they don't mind an ATC that doesn't fit in a sleeve.

I hope I didn't break the rules for this contest at Club Anya. One rule is you have to use an Anya or Ian stamp. Well the head is a Wild Sprout but is listed under the Anya stamps so is she an Anya? The body is Princess Anya so technically I did use an Anya stamp anyway. Princess Anya is holding a wand to one arm had a line across it. I drew a matching line on the other arm and gave her long sleeves (quick fix). I like a card with a lot of texture. I used Bazzill Swiss Dot cardstock and the pattern paper is flocked . For some sparkle I added bling jewelry and used metallic thread on the corner stitching. Hope you like.
Update: Oh Happy Day! I won the Put on your Dancin Shoes contest at Club Anya.
My entry for the "Put On Your Dancin Shoes" contest over at Club Anya.
This reminds me of all the little dancers in my daughters dance class.
To make Butterfly into my ballerina I just cut off the wings. After coloring I poked holes for the lacing of the dress. I used Kreinik Metallics thread in pink which is also what I used for the bows in her hair. The others have small bling in their hair. Then I found the spot I wanted to place them and stamped their shadow. I then used pop dots to adhear the Anya's down and give her some dimension.

Tomorrow is the first day of the big garage sale. This has become a huge undertaking. I just hope it $$pays$$ off. I miss my stamp room, this has got to stop! My hubby asked what I wanted to do for Mother's Day. Is being alone in my stamp room a legit. answer?
No time to craft, poor pitiful me. This yard sale has became a full time job. I crammed a lot of errands in today. Got some great deals at Target. I paired up some coupons and got paid on Kraft salad dressing .41 a bottle on 6 bottles. Coupons Rock!
When I got home I had some happy mail. First is the Club Anya VIP Card Swap. I was super stoked to get 2 prizes. One for first to arrive (I know, OCD Erin getting done first), and the other for Best in Group.
Next are the ATC's from Wendy's ATC swap. Don't you love it when you get mail like this instead of bills?
I whipped these up real quick before a letterboxing gathering. Then ran them over to OfficeMax to be laminated. Addison picked Tink from TGF for her book and mine is from etsy. Yes, my trail name is Hot Mess. One boxer thought maybe I was menopausal when she first saw my name, too funny. We had a very busy weekend. I did get to go to a rogue art show Sat. morning. I love these, such creative stuff. I did get some more Adam Turmantrivets. I love his art!
I spent the entire day in the garage getting ready for a garage sale. I finally ran out of hangers and gave up for the day. Lots of pricing to do still. I am going to get rid of my dishes after having them the last 12 years. I don't know what I'm going to get to replace them, but we can use the Christmas dishes until I find what I want.
Hopefully I will get some time to stamp soon. I feel like I've been away from my stamp room to long.
