Scrapbook Page: Preschool Photo

To make my crayon star I cut crayons in half and hot glued them to a scrap of paper.  I die cut my star and hot glued it all to the page.  I've never used hot glue on a page but with the bulk of the crayons I wanted it to stay together.

Scrapbook Page: Easter at the Zoo

On a few of the chicken coups I cut out a second coup and popped it up with pop dots.  You may see the shadow on the red, yellow, and pink one above.

Scrapbook Page: Easter

Totally cheated on this one, I already had it made.  This was from a Stampin Up club I was in years ago.  I smacked a few pictures on and called it a day, fastest page ever.

Scrapbook Page: Circus

The circus stamp set I used is from My Favorite Things.  I cut the title with my Cricut using the Carousel cartridge.  I found the vintage circus cards at a flea market.

Macy's Flower Show 2013

The theme of this years show was India.  This large elephant is the first thing you see when you enter.
Notice the lemons
I loved the umbrellas.

Scrapbook Page: New Years

A couple of friends and I went to a New Years crop at Archivers.  They gave us a two page photo frame layout as a goodie; which I wasn't going to use since we didn't do anything this New Years.  I had it in the give away box when I came to these photos from 2011.  So I took the frame layout that said "welcome 2013" and cut the 3 off.  The first page said "so long 2012" so I cut the 1 I needed off that page.  Not so fancy, but fast.

Scrapbook Page: Christmas Day

I didn't have many good pictures of this Christmas so a one page layout worked best.  This is another basic page.  If you can't tell from my past posts I've been trying to get a lot done and not spend way to much time on one page since I'm so behind.  One more page and I'm done with 2010!  Gee only 2+ years behind now.  Good thing I only have one kid.
The snowflake blue paper at the top, the snowflake, and the journaling card are all October Afternoon.  If you are wondering why I use so much October Afternoon it's for 2 reasons.  I love the look of there stuff and they are located two towns over so I get to go to the yearly warehouse sale and get TONS of stuff for cheap.  At the sale you have to buy an entire package of each patterned paper so I split it with friends an still have tons left over.

Scrapbook Page: Christmas with Friends

Very basic layout.  If you can see it there are small letters the say "Christmas with the" at the top of the title.  Towards was made with red felt letter to mimic the felt flower on the paperclip on the journaling.  I also added a little washi tape since I'm addicted to it.  Paper is Martha Stewart.

Scrapbook Page: A Visit to Santa

This is a mall Santa photo that already had the red border around the picture.  There was so much red and black in the photo that I used that as my color scheme to pick a paper to use.  I already had the tag made.  It was from a Cosmo Cricket crop that I attended at Scrapfest a couple of years ago.  I only had the matching paper in a 6 X 6 so I seamed them together to make the long pieces and hid the seam under the tag.  The rub-ons around the border are October Afternoon, as are the letter stickers.

Scrapbook Page: Christmas baking/ Snow day

I'm still not crazy about this one (but they all can't be winners).
The paper is old Basic Grey that I tried to match up with the Pink Paisley embellishments I got in a goodie bag.  I added the red pom pom ribbon for a little pop.  It still seems a little blah to me.

Scrapbook Page: Holidazzle

I used a black circle to act as the moon for this Christmas in the city page.  I sprayed a iridescent white Tattered Angel spray on it to make it more moon like.  The city scape and title were cut with my Cricut.
